Arctic Dive (AD) has delivered sea related services in Kirkenes and Northern Norway since 1999. Since the start, the company has gradually grown to 24 permanent employes and several local subcontractors. AD has its own premises with offices, workshop, apartments, 3500m3 outdoor areas, and private floating dock for our vessels in the center of Kirkenes harbor.
Commercial diving is our specialty, but today diving is a small part of our daily tasks. Our most common operations are services for the aquaculture industry, commercial diving, ROV services, anchoring/mooring work, tug service, transportation and lifting at sea, as well as welding and mechanical services.
AD is certified by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) for underwater inspection and classification of vessels and floating rigs.
Based on work with high risk (commercial diving), necessary certifications, requirements for sustainability, and high demands from our suppliers, AD is accustomed to maintaining a strong focus on good systems to ensure high quality and safety in its services. AD is annually audited by some of its largest customers and offers full transparency in our systems.
AD has low sick leave and turnover among the employees. The average employment duration for our captains is 10 years. During our 26 years we never had any serious personal injuries, and we are proud of not having to decline a single request from any customers during the same period.
Goal, Strategy, Efficiency
AD’s main goal is to constantly develop our business to be a safe and stabile local supplier of Sea Services.
The strategy is to have satisfied employees with high work moral and expertise.
We strive to always be available for our customers and meet their needs with a high level of experience, competence and flexibility. For us, good relations and honest communication are key factors to create a win-win environment with economic revenue for both parties.
To ensure high reliability and flexibility, Arctic Dive has trained more than half of its employees as Deck officers for our vessels and half of the commercial divers are also educated dive leaders.
Arctic Dive has a small and clear organization with very experienced professionals, which makes the company very efficient.
